Blogger in the classroom

I actually have a blog that happens monthly in my classroom... it is through the district site. I reward one participant (random selection) with a candy bar
There are some regulations:
1. They must have edited, proofread and used NO texting language.
2. They have to have answered the actual question.
3. Their answer should be "meaty" or substantial.

I would love to see the kids blogging amongst each other on Blogger- for homework or free time- when I give a particular prompt or question. It would be neat to see the creativity and flow between students instead of including me. Of course, it may be sticky to get all parents on board with allowing their child on Blogger, but they would love it! I would have to be sure that the students would follow regulations on Google as well... I think there might be a tool in which I must approve the messages before they are posted, which would work for me!
